Family - Neighbors
Wissmann Hill Farm has deep roots in St. Charles County. The original deed was recorded on October 16, 1884, by Theodore and Helene Wissmann, great‑grandparents of Julie (Wissmann) Figura, Wesley Wissmann, and Tammy (Wissmann) Brinker. The farm sits proudly on the first river bluff west of the Missouri River. Julie, Wesley, and Tammy represent the family’s 4th generation, and they are honored to share that 6th‑generation descendants are already prepared to continue caring for this historic land.
Missouri recognizes landowners whose farms have remained in the same family for at least 100 years through the Century Farm program, which provides commemorative signs, a certificate, and a booklet. More information is available at https://extension.missouri.edu/programs/century-farms
On May 7, 2026, members of the MU Extension Council in St. Charles County were honored to present Julie, Wesley, and Tammy with their Century Farm sign, certificate, and booklet—celebrating more than a century of stewardship and family legacy.
I'm looking forward to visiting their farm for pictures when the sign is in place at Wissmann Hill Farm!
